Is there anything cooler than an accapela intro? The merger of our voices sounds so beautiful Some say music sounds better when performed by a whole band So let's ride with the tide and please our fans Notice the simplicity of this melodic punk song Could we make this harmony our band anthem? Lighters up, fists in air Everybody sing along Don't worry we will print the lyrics on the next album We will keep it simple so everyone can Learn' em and sing along with the whole band A symphony of street punk poets Like an old song from NOFX Prepare yourself for what comes next So now we sing Later we'll drink We'll pat our backs We'll bond and laugh We might get drunk or passed out on the floor But we will never stop to rock 'n' roll We will keep it simple so everyone can Learn' em and sing along with the whole band A symphony of street punk poets Like Disconnected from Face to Face So now we sing Later we'll drink We'll pat our backs We'll bond and laugh Drink beer directly from the tap We're growing old but never bored cause we will never stop to rock 'n' roll Is there anything cooler than an accapela outro? The clapping and the voices sounds so beautiful Some say music ends better with a solo in the end So let's ride with the tide again

I don't know if I can face it this time Will I make it cause the countdown has begun Six letters not auguring well A memorandum straight from hell Like a vow of silence, my testimony can't be heard No one can lead them to accept this tragedy I may be proud but I cannot hold my tears They're dancing in my eyes It's too late to heal and also way too soon to leave I'm affraid and paralyzed by their gaze My life is slowly vanishing like a whisper in the wind I'm overrun by a conscienceless enemy So now I know, I just can't win Still strong enough to grin I'm surrounded by all my friends and family The curtain slowly falls right after my last dance I know I'm fading out It's hard to find the appropriate words to describe my deliverance Pain's gone after all She's done, I'm peaceful now I look around then smile at my son one last time while the light drifts away from my eyes I know that I will make it this time I'll deploy my wings then fly to find where I belong Like a vow of silence, my testimony won't be heard Now one will lead them to accept this tragedy My life is slowly vanishing like a whisper in the wind I'm overrun by a conscienceless enemy But now, no longer need to win I can see my father's grin He kept me a place next to him

Xenophobic 03:08
People are clearly out of mind Boasting themselves all the time Desperately searching for a better way to shine Irony is headlining all your thoughts There's no awareness without trust Emptyness in your gaze just prove that you're lost It's a to-may-to, it's a to-mah-to Don't you realize how dumb we sound right now? We look like kids in a kindergarten fight The second we start arguing, it's been too long Everlasting debate, the same old song I've heard them all Would you like to buy a vowel? Inaudible Is your mouth full of marbles? But above all, I'm getting sick and tired off your mockeries and cheap pleasantries, your condescendence and obstinacy Sometimes you're acting like a jerk cause insensibility hurts Can you be down to earth? A little tolerance won't hurt Annoyed by people with a french accent He's not an alien, he's a Canadian Why put so much emphasis on such details? Let's call a cat a cat, you're disagreeable You hear me the first time, don't dare tell me you don't Your xenophobic ways are growing old The second we start arguing, it's been too long Everlasting debate, the same old song

I paid the price once again but for the last time I swear to God, today I've learned to shut my mouth Things are complexed when you're surrounded by spineless so-called friends who are supposed to take your side By leaps and bounds I unavoidably reached this end Introspection introduced me to a life size game The world is the panel with rules quite simple Observation's the key but don't get involved Don't let compassion get in your way A lot less commotion bred by being low profile Now I am playing well with others by staying away from fires Now I'm wading through the mire Hidden away in an non emotional core I'm frigid, impassive and remorselessly answering everything you want or need to hear By leaps and bounds I unavoidably reached this end Introspection introduced me to a life size game The world is the panel with rules quite simple Observation's the key but don't get involved Don't let compassion get in your way Pacifism is the premise of neutrality So indifference, make-believe and a "couldn't-care-less" attitude is vital for me to succeed Indispensable for me to succeed By leaps and bounds I got you in my devious plan Introspection's a real joke, I'll never play this game Cause you're so judgemental and I'm susceptible I hope you're familiar with sarcasm The look on your face's incredible I didn't know you were so gullible I didn't like the sermon you gave me and I'm showing it to you the extreme way

Miami 02:56
These last few weeks, grin thinly veiled I took a trip down memory lane Thoughts of that night with our friend Jack Inebriation was our guide Cottonmouth, drunken debates Then something shined through our nonsense So we packed up and moved away The best decision ever made Fragile minds in fragile times Traveled the highways and byways Badly in search for inner peace to write down this page of our history Fragile minds in fragile times My friends that went their separate ways In my heart forever engraved Getting booze with fake I.D.'s and "Lucky green socks" Tommy The night we pierced my friend Jay's ear with needles from a sewing machine The neighbor's pool, evidently, was a nice playground for Gen and me Crestfallen, kinda depressed Goodbye was waved to "sunshine state" Nostalgia hurt Oh how I missed Miami's heartwarming embrace

Some say you're just another face in the crowd Someone that nobody cares about I wish I'll get close enough to you and find a way to make you smile I want this picture in my mind All your memories are punctuated by emotional scars Eternally searching for a new sin A new way to escape Your dreams are turning into nightmares Blindly guided by fear Too scared to feel something real I gotta let you go now I can't hold you anymore It's hard to see you go back there without any kind of remorse You're back in troubled waters Coveted by old sharks The peaceful morning breeze; A sign that you've been caught and released Your so-called mates are complicated and thinks they control who you are by playing games with your weakness They only win your hate Your dreams are turning into nightmares Blindly guided by fear Too scared to feel something real No one knows who's really hiding behind your storyline On your own side of a two ways mirror You slowly lose your mind It's getting harder every time It's getting longer every night Don't let the darkness win on light Girl, wake up now cause it's time to fight
