How can you be so blind?
We both know that you never been good at reading signs
Does cheating ring you a bell?
cause you're diving head first into it again
You've been told several times
but you don't mind
You are so shallow
Lil' princess is never satisfied
After owning the moon, she simply claims the sky
Her expectations are way too high
You never see your friends
instead you're slipping away
Completely mesmerized by eyes that don't blink
You never see your friends
You're out on a leash
in captivity
She got a hold on your mind
Guilt-tripping and emasculation are her passtimes
Lost without landmarks, in denial
but still so shallow
Lil' princess is never satisfied
Her ego's running the show
She's known to believe her lies
Her expectations are way too high
You never see your friends
instead you're slipping away
The time has come for you
to bite the hand that feeds
You never see your friends
You're out on a leash
in captivity
You never see your friends
instead you're slipping away
The eternal martyrs are manipulative
You never see your friends
You're out on a leash
in captivity

This album is AZip's best since Andiamo, maybe even A Passage In Time. And that's a high bar for a band that couldn't put out a bad studio album if they tried. There's hints of every previous album. Even fans who think the band went downhill after Passage should like this one. Mark Hammond
