Another day has started and I still wear this overused disguise
a safety net for everyone I love
I know how my life seems perfect from the other side
As long as you don't try to cross the flimsy walls made from my phony smiles
I wish that my speech, could reflect my state of mind
(only once…….)
Sharing my burdens only once in my lifetime
I’m exhausted by the weight of life and choked by my own lies
(I’m all alone….)
I'm on a rooftop waiting to have enough guts to fly
I look at the light around me, slowly disappear
dazed by serenity abandoned by fear
a letter written by my tears
a painful souvenir
I know I've healed you from me
I hope you heal from me
The last night of my trek has finally came to an end
no one believed that i couldn't retrieve this little something to live for…
(this little something to live for…)
I wish that my speech, could reflect my state of mind
(only once…….)
Sharing my burdens only once in my lifetime
Im exhausted by the weight of life and choked by my own lies
( I’m all alone….)
I'm on a rooftop waiting to have enough guts to fly
This album is AZip's best since Andiamo, maybe even A Passage In Time. And that's a high bar for a band that couldn't put out a bad studio album if they tried. There's hints of every previous album. Even fans who think the band went downhill after Passage should like this one. Mark Hammond
